이번 EnM 31권 2호에는 10 편의 종설, 그리고 8편의 원저가 실렸습니다. 분당서울대병원 문재훈 교수님께서는 “Endocrine Risk Factors for Cognitive Impairment”  라는 제목으로 cognitive impairment에 영향을 주는 내분비적 여러 위험인자 (인슐린 저항성, 갑상선기능이상 및 비타민 D결핍 등)에 대해서 리뷰해 주셨습니다. 뉴질랜드의 Allan E. Herbison교수님께서 “Kisspeptin Regulation of Neuronal Activity throughout the Central Nervous System” 라는 제목으로 뇌신경에서 Kisspeptin signaling pathways에 대해서 자세한 소개를 해주셨습니다. Yibin Kang교수님께서 “Dissecting Tumor-Stromal Interaction in Breast Cancer Bone Metastasis” 라는 제목으로 유방암이 osteolytic bone metastasis를 일으키는 molecular mechanisms에 대해서 소개해 주셨습니다. Wilmar M. Wiersinga교수님께서 “Clinical Relevance of Environmental Factors in the Pathogensis of Autoimmune Thyroid Disease” 라는 제목으로 autoimmune thyroid disease를 예방할 수 있는 환경적 요소 (금연, 셀레늄 및 비타민 D 등)에 대해서 리뷰해 주셨습니다. Laura Calabresi교수님께서 “High-Density Lipoprotein, Lecithin: Cholesterol Acyltransferase, and Atherosclerosis” 라는 제목으로 HDL metabolism에 중요한 역할을 하는 LCAT에 대해서 설명해 주셨습니다. 또한 이번 EnM에는 당뇨병합병증에 관한 리뷰저널이 실렸으며, 당뇨병 약제의 심혈관계 안정성에 대해 고찰해 보는 저널이 실렸습니다. 이 밖에도 다양한 내분비 영역에서 6편의 임상논문과 2편의 실험연구 논문들이 원저로서 이번 호에 실렸습니다 (31권 2호 바로 보기 ).
